I think you must spend your time between India and Iran, you find both very beautiful peaceful countries with kind people, delicious foods, very amazing costumes, beautiful cities, amazing temples, ancient civilizations and lots more.

Both coutries are really safe according to my own visits and they will give you the full essence of Asia, I think India is more spritual and Iran is more historical. Both will provide you with lots of wonderful souvenirs. I think thailand, India and Iran will be a wonderful trip.

the Philippines has 7,107 wonders to choose from, it's the third largest english speaking country in the world. it offers wide range of varieties from beaches to night life, from the smallest volcano to the largest flower, from the busiest shopping areas to the most peaceful getaways. it is safe to go here and a little less cheap. You probably need to be a bit more specific in what it is you're interested in. If you're willing to go to Thailand, my guess is you're adventurous enough. Try a flight to Chiang Mai to get a sense of northern Thailand. From there, you can go to Luang Prabang in Lao or Angkor Wat in Cambodia. Breathtaking.
