?

I am on honeymoon trip to thailand in mid march this year. I will be landing in BKK in Surnvabhumi airport. My queries:

1)Best place/area to stay in BKK for 2 days
2)Recommeded hotels in that area. Hotels should be of nominal rates and good for honeymoon.
3)Activities to do in BKK???
4)Best place where night life can be enjoyed?

I will be leaving to Krabi from BKK. Will be taking train to Thung Song.

Please advice.

It is very refreshing to see someone going for lesser-known destinations. Indeed, in the dazzling lights of Shanghai, Malaysia and Hong Kong, people have more or less forgotten about Thailand. A shame considering the diverse attractions that this country offers. Bangkok is definitely a good spot for a vacation. It is also a very economical place for a vacation. Some advice - don't try to venture out in the city very late at night. Its not safe. Try not to go into the downtown area alone. Otherwise, Bangkok is quite a tourist friendly destination.

Here are some trip plans, I found on Bangkok. You will get a good idea of which places to visit and where to stay. Here you go:

they r in the middle of the city + main shopping area. all those massage palours, hugh malls r here.

taking skytrain is so easy & clean / cheap. otherwise, u wil hv to jam an hour on the road by taxi. really mad! i once taxi fr Siam back to the hotel. suppose it just 10 mins drive but finally i sitted there 45 mins!!
